8. Instagram and Facebook Messages
When you send a direct message to our Instagram account (@mkngroupofficial) or our Facebook Page (MKN Group Üretim Pazarlama), the conversation is transferred to our own customer management system through Meta Platforms' official APIs via our “Mkn Group Message App” application. Data processed: your Instagram/Facebook user ID (the page-scoped ID assigned by the platform), your username or display name, your profile picture link, message contents and attachments you send, and message timestamps. This data is used only to reply to your messages, follow up on your request (quote, sample, production) and provide customer service; it is not used for ad targeting, is never sold, and is not shared with third parties for marketing. Reply drafts may be prepared with AI assistance; replies sent to customers are reviewed by our team. Conversations are kept for at most 3 years after the last message; conversations that turn into a quote or contract are kept for the legal retention period of the related commercial records. To request deletion of your data, follow the steps on our “Data Deletion Instructions” page (mkngroup.com.tr/en/data-deletion).
